‘The Peoples Palace’ is the jewel in the crown of this popular family area.  With its excellent selection of art and music concerts as well as exhibitions and food festivals there is always lots on offer at Alexandra Palace.  Permanent fixtures include a skating rink, mini golf and the boating lake as well as ‘Go Ape’ for the more adventurous! Weekly farmers markets make a great Sunday family outing too.

The housing stock is primarily Edwardian and 1920’s providing attractive tree-lined residential streets, with great community connections, perfect for families.

The schools in Alexandra Park are of an excellent standard, they include as selection of private nurseries including Montessori.  Primary schools are found Rhodes Avenue, St Martin of Porres and Whittington private school.  The area is also served by the outstanding Secondary school Alexandra Park School, which recently featured in The Times top 20 non-selective state secondary schools.

The sporting facilities at the Durnsford Recreational ground are a popular local feature, with all weather tennis courts, bowls and regular football matches being played throughout the year.

There is a lovely parade of local shops, well supported by the local residents including boutiques and gift shops as well as delicatessens and various food offerings. A couple of great local pubs at The Maid of Muswell and The Ranleagh are also a super community hub.

Transport links are excellent for getting into central London and The City, via either Alexandra Palace Overground station or Bounds Green Underground on the Picadilly Line.
